FAQ
A few things to know.
Does Email Shop send my emails?
No. Shopify continues to send your notifications. Email Shop helps you customize the templates used for those emails.
How do I install a template?
Open a notification in Email Shop and choose its language. Copy the generated code, keep a backup of the previous template, and paste it into the matching Shopify notification. Send a test from Shopify before confirming.
Can I use my logo and brand colors?
Yes. Customize your logo, colors, typography and content in the editor. Shared design settings carry across your notification collection.
Which languages are available?
Email content is available in French and English. Each version can be customized and saved separately, then selected on the installation page.
Will changes update my Shopify emails automatically?
No. Save your changes in Email Shop, then copy the updated template into Shopify. The installation view helps you keep track of your confirmations.
Can any store install the app right now?
The app is currently being prepared for public distribution. The Open Email Shop link is for stores that already have access. A public Shopify App Store listing is not available yet.
